Free big old wooden desk

I have a wonderful big old wooden desk (like an office desk from the 1940s) that I've used for years and years. It has 6 drawers in it. The top is a bit funky but it's still serviceable. It comes apart with a screwdriver but you will need a car to pick it up. I'm at 16th/Guerrero.

Bunch of random stuff (hangers, kitchen stuff, blanket, towels)

Just moved to SF and am trimming the fat. I left a bunch of stuff on the sidewalk this morning: SE corner of Lyon and McAllister. Including,
- measuring cups and spoons
- perfectly good brita filter
- chewed up vellux blanket
- beach towels
- a shitload of plastic hangers
- unused feminine products (mostly tampons - boxes are open but individual tampons are not - i stopped using them years ago and have a bunch left over)
- random cords (telephone cords, old computer cords, rabbit ears, etc.)

Baby walker & bicycle loan for January

Myself, wife and young child are coming to San Fran on Jan 9 for a month for training for my job. We will be staying in the pacific heights area and will not have a car. Our daughter is 8 months and using a walker (not a push along) now to support herself. It is too big to transport from Europe so we are hoping someone might have a loan of one for a month, that would be great.

I am hoping to commute by bike to mountgomery. The alternative I have been told is the 44 or 41 bus straight down union over the big hill to north beach/columbus street and then a 10 minute walk. But if anyone had a loan of a bike that would be fantastic. I would obviously cover any necessary repairs/maintenance while I was using it..

ton of once-used videotapes up for grabs

I have about 30 or 40 video tapes, taped over once with tv shows and most of 'em never watched. it would be a crime to stick 'em in a landfill if someone else can use blank videotapes.

I live in SOMA and ride a bike, so you'd have to come pick them up.

Looking for some old chairs/couches

We are some international burners flying into SanFran prior to this years burn, and we are trying to furnish our small camp on a very tight budget.

If you have any old chairs or couches/sofas with you no longer have need of then we would be keen to take them off your hands. Condition is not important as they shall be spending a week in the desert, with the likelihood of being placed into storage for next years burn.

Every couch deserves to experience to freedom of the playa, at least once in its lifetime! : ) We shall also make every effort to give something back to the SanFran freecycle community in the future.

Free clothes- women's size 14-20

I have a couple bags worth of clothes, sizes 14-20 women's, mostly from Torrid. Clothes are mostly gothic/punk, with a few random colorful pieces. Not all in perfect condition, but with a little DIY love they're a great collection.

Parquet Floor Slats

My corporate video studio is getting rid of a whole slew of thin wood parquet floor slats.

The slats are 7.5" X 54" (roughly) and there are over 120 slats. They fit together to form a good sized floor (about 20' X 20'). They are not overused, but not pristine and perfect either.

Free black leather sofa

The cover itself (black leather) has superficial scratches from cats, but nothing major.
Completely usable.
Seats 3-4 comfortably.

free queen-size mattress

I moved away from SF and left my mattress in storage at a friend's house.
I won't be back in the bay area for another year or so and my friend now needs the storage space. It'a a perfectly good mattress-- I paid about $800 for it--and I'd rather not see it go to the dump...

Contact Lenses!

I got Lasik, so I don't need these anymore:

- 2 unopened boxes of Bausch & Lomb Optima FW Contacts (6 lenses in each box)
- 2 individual unopened lenses

Totaling to 7 *pairs* of lenses or 14 lenses total.

Prescription: -6 (all of them, my eyes were the same)
BC (curve): 8.4

Brand new these cost $15/box, but I just want them to go to someone who can use them vs. me throwing them away!
